My Quarantine Walks

If you would have told me a year ago that in 2020, we were going to experience a pandemic and have to quarantine in our homes for months, I would have thought you were crazy! Well here we are. I still cannot believe it sometimes! As much as I am ready for things to go back to normal, to have more dinners out, to see family and friends I have not seen, I have honestly enjoyed this time at home. The slower pace life, not always being on the go and being able to sit down and have dinner as a family has been one of my most favorites parts of this quarantine! That first month of quarantine I did a lot of binge Netflix watching, drinking and eating everything under the sun. The second month I told myself, “ok I need to make a change”, so I decided to wake up every morning and go for a long walk and or workout. It honestly has completely helped my sanity! I genuinely believe that walking is good for your mind, body and soul!! I have enjoyed these walks so much that if I don’t get it done in the morning, I am just not fun to be around! Sometimes you just need 20 minutes to get out of the house and enjoy fresh air and a good play list! I gathered up a few of my favorite walking essentials that I use and wear!
