A weekend in Sausalito

Ok you guys! If you have not been to Sausalito yet, you need to put this on your places to go to!! It is one of our favorite escapes. The cute little town of Sausalito is right next door to San Francisco. It gives you that same SF vibe but without all the hustle and bustle. Every time we come to Sausalito, we stay at Cavallo Point. Cavallo Point is located at the foot of the Golden Gate bridge. You get the most amazing views and it close to downtown SF. Staying there you just feel so incredibly relaxed. They have the most amazing day Spa as well! We absolutely LOVE it!! Right when we arrived, we were greeted with wine to enjoy on the beautiful porch of the hotel. We of course stopped into the cutest little boutique at the hotel right away, haha! They had so many adorable things. We then were taken to our rooms, the inside of our rooms was beautiful with a fireplace and an amazing spa bathtub.

The first night we had dinner at Poggio which is right on the strip in Sausalito. We devoured ourselves in every pasta you could imagine. I highly recommend this for dinner! The next morning, we walked from Cavallo Point to the strip and enjoyed Coffee and a Pastry from Sausalito Bakery & Cafe. We then headed to brunch at Bar Bocce! If you come to Sausalito, you must go to Bar Bocce. They have the cutest outdoor area with a fire pit and sand area to play bocce right by the waterfront. Unfortunately, due to Covid those two things were closed but we had the best time sharing some amazing pizzas and drinking lots of yummy cocktails! We spent the rest of the day walking along the strip and just enjoying the beautiful day!

Our last morning, we had breakfast outside at the Murray Circle restaurant at the hotel which was soooo yummy! Even if you do not stay at Cavallo Point this restaurant is a must. Nothing better than breakfast with a view! Sausalito is a special place for my husband and me. We had the best weekend with our amazing friends! If you can make your way there you should!! :)
